The Cluster Munition Coalition has developed new campaign resources to support campaigning work for the next phase of the campaign.
The Convention on Cluster Munitions was signed by 94 countries at the Oslo Signing Conference in December 2008, and it will enter into force on 1 August 2010, after 30 states ratified it by 16 February 2010. The CMC urges as many states as possible to get in on the ground floor of the Convention by signing or ratifying this year - there will never be a better time to join the treaty.
You can help make sure that your government gets on board the most significant humanitarian and disarmament treaty of the decade. The time to act is now. We have a range of easy-to use, adaptable and informative campaign materials to support this work, including:

Tools to help campaigners and supporters with letter-writing actions and meetings with governmental representatives. This section includes information on the steps governments must take to sign and ratify the Convention.

We have a range of tools for campaigners and supporters for public mobilisation, outreach and events. On 10-12 June 2010 campaigners gathered in Santiago Chile to participate in a Campaigners’ Forum. Presentations, documents and notes from this event are available here.
